CCA Overview
The CCA (Cloud Connect Advanced) is Tigo's third-generation data logger and can be connected to a network via WiFi (wireless) or wired (Ethernet).
The CCA network connection is configured using the Tigo Energy Intelligence (EI) App, which is installed on your mobile phone/device. You can use the controls on the App to make changes to your CCA network connection or Run a Network Test to verify your network connection is OK.
Run a Network Test
To verify that your Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) is successfully connected to the Tigo Cloud or not, run a Network Test as follows.
- Restart the CCA (power off and back on).
Note: The CCA restart (power-cycle) before connecting is necessary because the CCA ceases to broadcast its wireless connection point after 2 hours of use. Restarting the CCA will re-initiate the signal. - From your device (phone/tablet), open the Tigo EI (Energy Intelligence) app and sign in with your Tigo Account Login credentials. If you don't have the app, refer to Download and Install the Tigo EI App.
- Select the desired System to view.
- Press the Settings icon
(lower right).
- Select Configure Communication.
- Connect your device (phone/tablet) to the CCA using Bluetooth or WiFi.
Bluetooth is most common. For help, see Connect Device (phone/tablet) to CCA. - Press NETWORK TEST button (bottom)
Note: If you have a wired connection, the Ethernet cable will show as plugged. If you are using a WiFi connection, then all results should be positive (except the Ethernet cable shows as Unplugged)
Interpreting Results of Network Test
The three scenarios (below) identify possible results of the Network Test, and provides potential causes and methods to correct these issue(s):
