NOTE: It is very important to verify all clips are closed properly to guarantee weatherproof sealing of the TAP cover.
Note: Although we recommend use of a cable designed for RS-485 communications to ensure the most reliable and robust communications between the Cloud Connect Advance data-logger, and the TAP; an Ethernet cable can be used in many applications. Opening the TAP
To open the TAP, start by inserting a screwdriver or the Tigo TS4 Cover Key into the slot between the two glands.
Next, pry gently away from the body of the TAP. The main latch and one of the front side latches should snap loose.
Now push the cover toward the other (closed) front latch until the latch snaps loose.
Pull the cover up to open the TAP.
Closing the TAP
To close the TAP, first close and press the main latch until you hear a click.
Next, press each of the four side latches until they click. Press and latch these in the order shown. See below.
Verify that each latch is closed as below:
