When to Change the Network Settings
Change the CCA network settings if:
- You replaced the Wi-Fi router.
- The Wi-Fi network name (SSID) or password changed.
- The CCA is connecting to a different Wi-Fi network.
- You're switching between a Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection.
- The CCA was moved to a location where a different network will be used.
Use the Tigo Energy Intelligence (EI) App on your phone or tablet to configure the CCA network settings.
How to Change Network Settings
Before changing the CCA network settings, connect your phone or tablet to the CCA using the Tigo Energy Intelligence (EI) App. For instructions, see Connect Device (Phone/Tablet) to the CCA.
Once connected, use the EI App to configure the CCA to connect to the new network. The CCA can connect to a local Wi-Fi network, including a home router, mobile hotspot, or MiFi device, or through a wired Ethernet connection.
- Sign in to the Tigo EI App and select System on the Installations page
- Tap Edit ( screen bottom)
- Select Configure Communication
- Select Internet Settings
- Swipe Down to scan for networks
- Wait while the EI App scans for available Wi-Fi networks
- Select your network
- Enter the password for the new network and tap CONNECT (right)
- Verify that a checkmark appears next to the network name, then tap DONE (bottom)
Verify the Connection
Run a Network Test to verify that the CCA successfully connected to the network.
