Tigo TS4-O's can function as a stand-alone product (without a CCA and connection to the Internet). However, this method is referred to as Blind Deployment, and it is not recommended or supported by Tigo.
All Tigo TS4-O optimized systems are required to supply a network connection for monitoring and maintenance of the system. With network connection enabled, the Data Logger provides a detailed analysis of module-level production to both the System Owner and Installer, which allows them to assess performance characteristics and diagnose issues within the Tigo EI Portal or App.
Optimization without network connection, does not provide any data for review and therefore, may greatly limit the amount of coverage offered under Tigo's Limited Warranty.
Note: Many of Tigo's original legacy systems were deployed without network connection. If you have one of these early-adopter systems, Tigo will continue to support them for the remainder of their Original Warranty period.
