This article provides the basic requirements and links to the instructions for replacing a power supply.
Note: If sourcing your own power supply, you must verify that the electrical specifications are compatible.
Current Power Supply Offerings
Tigo offers two different AC Adapter Power Supplies (PS) with our device bundles:

Meanwell HDR - 15 - 12 For use with Tigo RSS Transmitter and RSSx Transmitter (with PST)

Meanwell DR - 15 - 24 For use with Tigo Data Loggers (CCA, CC, and MMU)

Meanwell WDR - 120 - 24 For use with commercial applications using RSSx Transmitter (with PST)

Replacing a Power Supply
Tigo does not sell individual power supplies (separate from our kits). If your system requires a new power supply, please note that several options are available for purchase from online retailers.
Tigo strongly recommends that all substitutions and replacements be UL/TUV- and FCC-approved.
When selecting a replacement, you can choose between a DIN rail or a wall-mount style:

DIN-rail Mount 120/220 VAC Adapter with Attenuator (hardwired to breaker) DIN Rail Power supplies are not outdoor rated and must be installed in a weather-rated enclosure. They draw less than 1 A of AC Current, so they can be wired to 10 Amp circuits (or more).

Wall Mount Plug 120/220 VAC household plug-in AC Adapter with barrel tip Modern Tigo management devices use hard-wired terminals. If you require a wall plug AC Adapter, cut off the barrel tip and strip the wire ends. |
Note: The DIN rail DC output wires require AWG #20 or larger gauge wires (not provided in the kit). Always use conductors that comply with local code and derateoutdoor-rated (as needed) for installation conditions. (NEC 310.15 in the USA).

Data Loggers (CCA, Cloud Connect, and MMU)
Tigo Data Loggers offer an input operating voltage range of 12-24 VDC. If the system has 3 (or fewer) TAPs and less than 400 feet of cable, a 12 VDC / 1 A PS may be substituted. If the system has more than 3 TAPs, a 24 VDC / 1 A PS is required.
Data Logger PS Specs:- Input: 100-240VAC - 50/60Hz 1A

RSS Transmitter & RSSx Transmitter (with PST)
Tigo RSS Transmitters require an input operating voltage of 12 VDC. Using power supplies outside the following requirements may damage the device and void the warranty.
RSS Transmitter PS Specs:- Input: 100-240VAC - 50/60Hz 1A
- Output: 12VDC @ 1A (12W output)
