    Hello Douglas,

Thank you for your great question!

The Solar Industry has changed rapidly over the last 10-15 years. During this period, all manufacturers of Solar products were making adjustments to the connector types based on demand and/or special order. In some cases, the connector type(s) were even modified (or re-crimped), by the installer on the day of the installation... even though it may void the Warranty. For this reason, the serial numbers of both the Tigo MLPE, and the PV Module do not necessarily indicate the type of connector that made it onto the final system build, and therefore a confirmation is required.  My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you are experiencing difficulties identifying the connector, you can alway reply to the Tigo Agent with a photograph of the inbound and outbound connectors on the Tigo Unit. If they are clear pictures, our Agents will be able to identify which model you have and either adjust the order or notify you if that particular connector is no longer available.

    Hi Douglas,

Yes, the ES75 is no longer in production so it may be hard to find. However, I did manage to find this datasheet.

    What are you looking for?

    Thanks for the info link.

I have a defective module and Tigo was asking what the input and output connectors are in order to provide a replacement.  There may be only one type, although it would seem that they should be able to determine the specifics of the module since they have the serial number of the defective unit.  I was hoping that a datasheet or brochure would at least enable me to differentiate between different connectors, if there are any options.

Based on your system Equipment page, this PV module is using MC4 (multicontact 4) connector.
