How to disable Tigo ES-50 modules but keep the panels producing?
I recently had my inverter upgraded to an ElectriqPower PP2 with battery. The inverter is AFCI compliant but my Tigo modules are the older ES-50 which were installed in 2011 and therefore are not. This is causing the inverter to get faults, which causes the inverter to shut off the solar production and battery, including for home backup. A very helpful customer support person at Tigo suggested I request ElectriqPower to disable the AFCI tracking until I can get the Tigo modules upgraded to the TS-4, but if they do that, ElectrIQ says it will void my warranty which I would prefer not to do. I am trying to find someone to replace the Tigo modules but it is really difficult because the installer that originally installed the array sold their residential business to Sunrun and every other electrician in my area is busy doing residential kitchen upgrades and such, so it may take some time (I estimate maybe 6-9 months).
In the interim, I would like to disable the Tigo ES-50 modules but keep the panels producing, if not at their optimum power level. Is there some way I can do that? There does not seem to be a function in the MMU menu allowing this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx.
