    Hi there O,

Thank you for that question. To answer, I need to know what model of inverter you are using, and what TS4 models you have installed:

    • I ask about the TS4 model because our TS4-A-O, TS4-A-S, and TS4-A-M all come with free lifetime monitoring for your system within the EI Portal if you get a CCA and at least one TAP. If you have the TS4-A-F or TS4-A-2F installed however, there is no monitoring provided on our behalf.

    • I ask about the model of your SMA inverter because I want to let you know whether we have proof of compatibility testing of the rapid shutdown with the TS4-A-O or TS4-A-S and your inverter. If you do not need the rapid shutdown feature and we have no proof of testing, then you may still use the TS4-A-M.

Wow I thought I had provided that info but looking back I did not. I have two SB5.0-1SP-US-41 and I have all TS4-A-O modules

Tavi Sims No worries! I was making sure you were not using our TS4-A-F or TS4-A-2F, for which we do not provide monitoring. At this time I would like to notify you that the SMA SB 5.0-1SP-US-41 inverter you are using is not UL listed as compatible with our products so carefully consider the risk of installing this equipment combination.

With that said, to monitor our TS4-A-O, TS4-A-S, or TS4-A-M in real-time, you will need a Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) and at least one Tigo Access Point (TAP). The rapid-shutdown feature of our TS4-A-O and TS4-A-S requires the installation of a CCA and at least one TAP too.

The other component of accessing your real-time data involves registering and creating your system within our EI monitoring portal. Here are some resources that you may find helpful getting started in our monitoring portal:

    1. Precommissioning - How to create a Tigo System on Tigo Cloud (website) - using web browser - learn how to get your system into our monitoring portal
    2. Tour-of-the-Tigo-Monitoring-Portal - overview of the user interface
