    The CCA is connected to the TAP via a hardwired RS485 cable. Once the CCA is energized, the TAP starts communicating with the TS4s.

    Are you asking what happens when 120VAC is applied directly to the CCA (instead of wiring the CCA to the 24VDC power supply)? Please clarify, and I will inquire with the Hardware Team.

    Yes, I thought you were asking that kind of question... Indeed, the CCA is not meant to run on 120VAC but rather on a 24VDC power adapter. Any attempt to run the CCA directly on 120VAC would cause significant damage to the device.
