Tigo optimizer and startup voltage

Hi!

If a string has for instance ten solar panels rated at 40V and the start up voltage of the inverter is 250V - then the system will start up quite easily. What happens when we use Tigo optimisers on for instance five of the modules. Will the string just have 5x40V in the morning hours, or will the inverter still sense 40V from each of the Tigo modules? I am thinking that they are shut off at night, but what does it take for them to start and actually provide a voltage?

    Hello,

     

    Thank you for contributing to Tigo Community.

    There will be the PV module's voltage on the output cable of the optimizers because optimizers will initiate the Rapid shutdown feature when you shut off the CCA or initiate the Rapid shutdown by using a Manual Latching Push Button.
