Works with any approved inverter - how is monitoring done?

If an existing "approved" inverter is used, and we want to put the optimzers on the existing panels, what communicates with the optimizers and manages the rapid shutdown?

  The system should have a CCA kit to use the optimizers' Monitoring and Rapid shutdown features.
