What is optimization and how does it help me?

  Optimization is the process of using a module level power electronic (MLPE) to maximize the output of a solar module. For example, shading can reduce overall string production, since it causes resistance within the panel(s). Tigo’s Optimizers use impedance matching technology (PIV), to increase current production at the panel and balance the string’s production.
