Sun position on App display
Hi, just started using the TIGO app on PC and Android.
When looking at the physical layout display and scrolling through different times of day the sun position on the display does not relate to the angle of the panels.
Is it possible to shift the sun position on the display or does the App display always assume that the page is S ( on N) upwards ?
Have tried changing azimuth setting on the system info in the hope it would rotate the sun position and give correct dawn / noon / dusk positions etc but it has no effect
Is the only solution to rotate the physical layout relative to the N/S orientation of the page in order to get the correct relationship between the displayed sun angle and the panels, (the downside of doing this is that it would make the displayed number on the panels harder to read)
Would seem sensible if the display offset the local noon position on the display based on the Azimuth value
Thanks for any help

Hi Trever, that is an excellent question! We have a knowledge article on the subject.

Thanks Yes I saw and tested that feature but it does not address my problem
My system is on two aspects facing SE and SW
Hence I am looking to rotate the Noon position of the sun on the display so that dawn and dusk position of the sun is more representative of the array yields
Is this possible, if not then can I suggest it as an possible enhancement
I can potentially re arrange the layout but this would mean that all panels are shown at 45 degrees to the page and hence the figures are harder to read

Ah, OK, now I understand your question. I apologize for the misunderstanding. Currently, rotating the modules is the only solution but I will pass along your enhancement suggestion to our software team. Thank you for bringing this up!

I have the same layout of panels, and would live to see this feature in the app.
