Delete Unwanted Objects in EI Monitor Diagram
I'm the owner of a 28 panel residential system with Tigo MLPE units on all panels. The installer has created the system in the EI monitoring system. I have been customizing the system diagram. So far, I'm only moving and aligning modules. The installer has left some line objects in the diagram that appear to be simply left-over mistakes. I would like to delete them but there is no "Unplace" tool in my toolbar. How do I delete these objects?

Great question, Dan. While there is no "unplace" option, there is a delete indicated by the trash can at the top of the toolbar. Click on the component or remnant line, and more options appear, as shown in the image below. Click the trash can, and it should disappear forever. You can see that the inverter icon has been selected, and the trash can is now visible at the end of the toolbar.

Actually, there is an "Unplace" option. See the second screenshot below. But there isn't one in my system. See my first screenshot. So I can't perform the rest of your instructions.
The "Unplace" option (or "delete") doesn't appear in all of the illustrations in the web documentation either. There must be some mechanism that removes it from the toolbar.

Interesting. I wonder if it is based on permissions, i.e. Installer versus User. I created a ticket for you and will have a service Agent delete the unwanted entries from the layout.

It looks like Customer Support has assisted in the removal of these objects. That's great to see!
I can also confirm that System Owners are not given the tools to delete items from their layout. This is a precautionary measure, so that systems (or portions of systems) are not accidentally deleted by users who are just getting to know their accounts.
