    Hi Paul,

Thanks for contributing to our community!

At the moment, we haven't implemented an integration with the Growatt portal; therefore, you won't be able to visualize our optimizers in the GW portal.

To access our modular granularity data, you would need to install a CCA kit in your system; thus, you will be able to visualize the data from each of your solar modules in the TIGO EI portal. Please refer to your local solar distributors to purchase our monitoring Kit.

If there is a production loss, our support team can be contacted through the ticketing system. They can help troubleshoot the system, specifically for the optimizers.

Hi ..i would like the option to .. so if you ad TIGO could act on this that woild be great.

Maybe there is another way .. i've seen that you can ad a RS485 connection to the growatt and there are also some on the wireles receiver of TIGO .. can it be connected so whe can see the data  somewhere ..?

It maybe that someone with more experience then me can figure out some info about this .. or how to connect it.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Martin Vermeulen

    Thank you for your reply.

The function that you have requested, would be provided by Growatt's software engineers. Have you contacted the Growatt Customer Support Team?

I am sure they would accept suggestions and functionality requests.

    Hello Martin,

    I have the same issue.

Connection via RS485 Port of the Growatt to the CCA.

    It seems to be possible.

See How-To: Setup and Monitor Modbus Connected Devices (Inverters, Meters & Sensors) – Tigo Help Center (tigoenergy.com)

We need Tigo support to add the Growatt to the device list and to which pins the RS485 A and B wire must be connected to the Growatt COM port.

Which I think should be pin 3 (485A2) and 4 (485B2) for the Growatt MIN4200 TL XE, see 7.4.1 on the installation manual:

Maybe Tigo support can assist us.

The Growatt is a commonly used inverter so they should have experience by setting up the COM port.

    Regards,

    Marco

I found some information regarding all SYS COM Port pins on different Growatt converters which are the TS485 A and B terminals.

Hello Martin Vermeulen and Marco Maljaars

Yes, you are correct! A modbus connection can be made between the Tigo CCA and the Growatt Inverter. The modbus port will allow you to import data from the Growatt, to the Tigo Cloud Portal. However, the modbus connection will not export data from the CCA to the Growatt Inverter (or online portal). My apologies for any inconvenience.

Tigo's data stream is a proprietary network-based transfer (only). With a Premium Plan, you can download or export the data from your account, once it has been collected by Tigo's servers. This process can even be automated, through the Tigo Energy API.

If you require additional guidance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support Team

    Hello Curtis,

Thanks will give it a try. One small question. The inverter is the only mod bus device.

Do I need to add a 120 ohm resistor at the inverter side as this is the last device (and the only one)?

    Regards,

    Marco
