I have been in the industry since 2008 when I started as SMA America's technical trainer. I bid SMA farewell in 2015 and hopped over to sonnen, Inc. to help them launch their energy storage system in the U.S. In May of 2021, I transitioned to Tigo as the Technical Training Director. I am a huge fan of renewable energy, BBQ, and gaming. I am a published author and wrote an Amazon best seller about grid-tied lithium-ion storage.

Sorry, Joshua, I just got back from vacation. Our EI solution does not provide that granularity. The battery will discharge to cover what load it can and the rest will come from the utility.
