CCA + TAP + TS4-A-O disable RAPID SHUTDOWN

My installer installed TS4-A-O optimizers for each of the 24 PV panels supplied. The project did not include CCA + TAP. Later I learnt TS4-A-O modules can be controlled by CCA + TAP. So I purchased this kit separately, but I have not yet installed it.

Reading the manual I understand that if I install and configure the CCA + TAP, and later turn it off, I will lose my PV system entirely because the TS4-A-O once configured into a system will automatically shutdown on the loss of signal with the CCA.

This is of course unacceptable. TIGO is a small US company and as we now small companies can be like shooting stars. I am in Italy, access to TIGO support and spares in Italy is scarce at best, so I am now concerned that should TIGO disappear at all and any of the CCA or TAP will in future malfunction I will lose my whole PV system.

Before I go ahead and install the CCA + TAP I would like to be reassured that in case these are removed from the system my TS4-A-O can be restored to work in blind-deployment or that the rapid shutdown can be disabled.

Please could anyone help?

  Tigo al momento ha oltre 50MW di impianti cumulativi installati monitorati (con il kit di comunicazione) solo in Italia. E' un prodotto molto usato in territorio Italiano dove abbiamo inoltre diversi uffici con supporto in lingua italiana.

  Detto questo, ti comunico che il nostro prodotto è studiato per garantire comunicazione permanente per tutta la giornata tramite l'installazione del Tigo Access Point.
  
  La caratteristica di sicurezza è studiata per adeguarsi alla NEC 690.12 Americana; qualora si volesse togliere questa caratteristica c'è la possibilità di contattare un agente Tigo che manualmente vi disabiliterà tale impostazione. Tigo vi sconsiglia fortemente di applicare questa modifica, che va a eliminare la caratteristica di sicurezza del vostro impianto fotovoltaico.

  Rapid Shut Down (RSD), is a requirement for USA systems under the NEC (national electric code). 
  
  Please Contact Tigo Support for assistance on deactivating the RSD response, for systems that are not located in the USA.
