Difference TS4-A-O T1 or T2
Hello,
I notice in some web solar stores two different markings of TS4-A-O (yellow) optimizer. Some are marked as TS4-A-O T1 and some TS4-A-O T2.
So, what is the difference between T1 and T2?
Thank you!

Hello Jani Panter,
Thank you for your contribution to the Tigo Community!
The suffixes T1 and T2 are merely production notes regarding the generation in which they were manufactured. The parameters shown in the downloadable datasheets are the same for both versions, and they will function in the same fashion.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to Contact Tigo Support for assistance.0 -
Curtis, thank you for fast answer.
In datasheet document I can't find any T1 or T2 marks to be able to compare. Where this is visible?By the way, so it's not UL approved related? Like T1 is UL approved and T2 is not?

Hello Jani Panter,
Thank you for your reply.
The TS4 optimizer series has been approved by the UL, so both the T1 and T2 generations are covered.
For more information on Tigo's UL compliance, see these documents:
- UL PV Rapid Shutdown Systems with TS4-F, -S, -O, -L, and Listed Inverters
- UL1741 PV Rapid Shutdown Equipment with TS4-S, -O, -L for US and Canada
- UL1741 Product Safety Approval with TS4-M, -S, -O, -L for US and Canada
The reason you have not found any marks is that there is fundamentaly no difference in function or use. This is only a "production note" for Tigo to know which generation of manufacturing it came from. Otherwise, the 2 are fundamentally the same exact product in nearly every way.
My apologies if this causes any confusion.
