Calculation fundamentals of reclaimed power
I was asking myself, what is the base line which is being used to determine the reclaimed power as shown in the solar production.
Is it the worst module being used as assumption for the whole string for the baseline
or does the baseline also assume MPPT to work successfully and not being stuck at the bad module(s) - like doing regular sweeps

Hello Hans Dampf,
Thank you for your contribution to the Tigo Community.
The Reclaimed calculation is briefly explained in the Tour of the Tigo Portal:
- Solar Base = The power that is produced, before the Tigo optimization increases the current.
- Solar Reclaimed = The additional power that is produced, because of using Tigo's Optimizers.
There is no process of assumption in this calculation. Tigo receives scientific data from each PV Module and calculates how often our Optimizer function is engaged. It then subtracts those extra earnings from the total (or gross) output of each PV Module, to give you the Solar Base and the Solar Reclaimed (or net) data.
I hope this helps to clear things up a bit. Have a sunny day!
