Tigo optimizer power needed to operate at night
It is dark and midnight so everything is off in the house and my home solar panel system (9 panels x 420w each with a Tigo optimizer) is drawing around 200w. So the only source of energy usage is the optimizers, so is it correct that each optimizer draws around 200w/9 = 22w even when the panels are in the dark?

Dear Colin,
Thank you for contributing to the community!
The optimizer does not require 22W of power, in fact, it is not possible for the optimizer to draw power from the PV module when is in dark. Typically during night, there is no sunlight hitting the PV modules; therefore there won't be enough voltage on the TS4 optimizer to start up. Specifically, 16V are needed - see datasheet - to turn on the optimizer; I believe this value is not reached during the night.
