I've been a Tigo customer for seven years. I know this because i just went back through my solar power data log and see that it started in 2014, when a contractor installed a 17kW solar system on my roof. At the time I had never heard of Tigo and was largely unaware of the ad/disadvantages of different optimization strategies. My contractor explained how it all worked, and I'm pleased to say it did work and, in fact, has continued to work 'til this very, (very sunny) day.
Why do I happen to have a data file? Because pretty much every day I've filled in all the columns manually. Why manually? Because - despite frequent importuning - I can't access my Tigo data programatically. Rather, I have to go to their web site to capture it, despite the data coming from my network before it gets to their web site.
In subsequent years I discovered that Tigo isn't alone in this data-hoarding conceit. Tesla Enphase, Sunnyboy (in my personal experience) and no doubt others don't allow one to access raw data from one's own system.
So, simultaneously welcoming myself to the Tigo community and re-starting my Crusade for Data, I present this blogitem: http://priups.com/riklblog/jan19/190106-itsmine-manifesto.htm
