There is a link on the compatibility page to ask Tigo to add missing inverters. I don't know how long it takes for them to test the inverters. It seems that your Solis inverter would work with the TS4-O since there are so many inverters on that list. Maybe the testing is just a formality?

You will need the datalogger and TAP. I think the only issue of installing the optimizers without being on the compatibility list may be a support concern? I can't imagine why the system wouldn't be "safe" even without this testing.

    Hello Gary McConnell

Tigo TS4-O's are compatible with nearly any inverter that was produced after the NEC 2017 went into effect.

The inverter compatibility list is specific to Tigo MLPE devices that require PLC (power line communication) Signal Transmission. This includes the TS4-F and TS4-2F models (only). If you have TS4-O, they do not require PLC and can be used on nearly any inverters on the market.

    Hello Matthias Oliver

    Thank you for your insight.

As per my response to Gary McConnell, the TS4-O product line is compatible with nearly any modern inverter on the market.

The function of adding an inverter to the list, serves only to help Tigo create and maintain a database of inverters for our customers, and does not require a compatibility testing period for your entry.
