Power consumption of Tigo optimisers

How often does a Tigo optimiser (Tigo T4S-R) perform its MPP tracking (how many minutes does it leave between each time it measures the IV curve of the panel it is attached to and it determines what is the Maximum Power Point on that curve)? Is this frequency a parameter that is hardwired into the optimiser, or can we set the frequency for the optimiser to do this MPP tracking?

How much power does a Tigo optimiser itself consume then? Does that depend on how you set the above frequency? Or if the frequency is hardwired, what is then the fixed power consumption of an optimiser?

Hello Lieve. The MPPT has a fixed rate of operation and cannot be changed. Since the Tigo optimizers only consume power when they are operating, there are virtually no tare losses. What is your application that requires changing the MPPT scan rate?
